Kicking off the holiday season in and around Pittsburgh

It is official.  The holiday season is about to begin.  This time of year we start wishing for snow instead of rain.  The air has a hint of Christmas scents and maybe you will see a reindeer or two running around.  I tell my kids that Santa is checking up on them.  The rush of the holidays can keep us busy.  Take some time to truly enjoy them this year.  Here are some events for Thanksgiving in Peters Township and some upcoming Pittsburgh holiday events.

St. Benedict the Abbot Catholic Church at Al’s Café

Join St. Ben’s at Al’s Cafe for a Thanksgiving Eve Celebration. This event is open to all college age students up to age 27. You must be 21 years old to order a drink. Appetizers are free, and you are responsible for your own drinks. Please RSVP for the food count.
