Moving to Pittsburgh

Have you ever moved before?  Have you moved to Pittsburgh, from Pittsburgh, around the country or internationally?  Are you moving to Pittsburgh now?  I have and I know what it takes.  The last time we moved to Pittsburgh from Florida, my mother said, “This is the last time we help you move.”  Needless to say, I have been in my house for 4 ½ years now with no intention of moving anytime soon.  But never say never!

Even if you have moved from one apartment to another, you know what challenges moving can present.  At first, it is the actual logistics of the move.  Do I get a moving company, can I do it myself, and will my family & friends help me out yet again.  Do I need a storage unit?  Should I drive or tow my car?  So many questions, but I have some answers.

Check out my moving checklist and relocation tips if you are moving to Pittsburgh.  Even if you have to move away from Pittsburgh and relocate, I can help too.  It is always best to be prepared.  Please contact me with any questions you may have about moving to Pittsburgh or from the area.  I am here to help.

Moving can create anxiety and stress.  The unknown can be scary.  If you are moving to Pittsburgh, fear not.  Pittsburghers are a friendly group.  People will wave and say good morning with a smile.  Not only is Pittsburgh a friendly place, it was voted best place to relocate as stated by CNBC.

“CNBC named Pittsburgh as the #1 Best City to Relocate to in America. The city has made a major transformation from an industrial town into a hub for educationhealthcare and the arts. The cost of living is below the national average, as are home prices and unemployment rates. Crime rate is low, repeatedly rated one of the most livable and ranks high on both arts and colleges. And, of course, Pittsburgh is rated as one of the best sports cities in the U.S”  Source Visit Pittsburgh
